When you need adhesive
- Rolled rubber: full-spread glue-down for commercial weight rooms and most permanent home installs - see Rolled Rubber (Gladiator, Dynamic, Brute, Tread Lite, confetti including 8mm / 5/16" confetti).
- Indoor sports turf: many facility turf installs are adhesive-bonded - live turf: ATX Pro 65 via Sports Turf (turf freight origin 30721; adhesive often still 27041).
- Interlocking tiles: usually do not need glue - see Interlocking Tiles (Everlock, Fit Lock, 3/4").

Install tips (glue-down)
- Substrate: clean, dry, flat concrete or approved underlayment. Moisture-prone basement slabs need a plan before permanent glue-down - see Basement Gym Tips.
- Coverage: buy enough for seams and perimeter; follow the product page rates for your thickness.
- Open time: moisture-cured urethanes have limited open time - dry-fit rolls, then glue in manageable sections.
- Prefer no glue? Switch to interlocking rubber tiles for a floating floor.

Do interlocking tiles need this glue? Typically no - they float and lock. Use adhesive for rolled rubber and many turf installs.
Coverage? Follow the product page rates for your thickness; buy enough for seams and perimeter. Thicker rolls and textured substrates can use more adhesive per square foot.
Freight origin? Adhesive tags support NC ZIP 27041 - same East Coast freight story as many of our rubber rolls. ATX Pro 65 turf uses 30721 - do not mix the two when estimating freight.
Home gym or commercial? Same adhesive SKU. Home hobby installs that want zero glue should choose interlocking tiles instead; permanent roll floors (home or commercial) usually glue down.
